UPDATE (2/4/22): With safety as a priority, we have decided to move this class from its original date of Feb. 5 to Saturday, Feb. 12 at 11 a.m.  Anyone already registered will be automatically moved to that date. Nursery and Plant Records Manager Lori Fry will teach all about orchids and their care as you create your own living arrangement with an orchid, moss and driftwood, Pre-registration required and includes materials.

Registration: $34 per person Garden Member / $40 per person for Non-members

Workshop will be held in the Garden’s Mabee Grange building. ALL PARTICIPANTS are expected to wear a mask, regardless of vaccination status.

Registration closes on Friday, Feb. 11 at 11:59 p.m. or when full, whichever is first. If needed, any updates or decision on rescheduling would be posted on website and social media by noon on Friday.

Participants will have the option to purchase additional materials/kits to create a second arrangement at home for: $20-includes orchid, moss and small driftwood log OR $30 kit that includes orchid, 2 air plants and cork bark in place of log. A limited amount of select houseplants will also be available for sale to workshop participants (about $15)  as well as a native orchid.
