“We have both been involved with the Tulsa Botanic Garden since the beginning 22 years ago. At that time, Tulsa was the only city of its size that didn’t have a true botanical garden. A garden with strong educational and research components. A garden for all age groups with something to offer for everyone. It was envisioned that someday, the Garden would be recognized internationally as one of the finest in the United States.

Today, the 170 acre garden located in the beautiful rolling Osage Hills is recognized as one of the finest in the region. There are beautiful floral gardens, a children’s interactive garden, water features, and hiking trails. There are also many places to sit quietly and enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings. In addition, numerous programs and classes are offered along with many other activities. It is also a place for birthday parties, weddings, and memorial services. There is something for everyone.

It is because of all of the above, that we became members of the Legacy Society and will be leaving a portion of our estate to the Garden.”
