Learn from a well-rounded, longtime, Tulsa gardener and biologist.  Karen Harris is owner and operator of Bad Dog Farm, a one-acre garden inside Tulsa where she grows strawberries, tomatoes, sweet peppers and more, that she sells at Tulsa Farmer’s Market – Cherry Street. Karen will share what she’s learned in her years of experience gardening WITH wildlife – both the challenges and benefits of attracting wildlife while growing crops.  Karen has a master’s degree in biology and has taught in Tulsa area schools for over 30 years. Talk begins at 1 p.m. in visitor center.

The Botanic Garden is open Fridays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Suggested admission is $2 for adults, 50¢ for kids 3-12 years. Free for members.  For more information, call 918-289-0330. For map/directions, click here
