Reconnect with family and friends in the garden illuminated with colorful lights. Make s’mores over fire pits, enjoy holiday music and take in the spirit of the season in our magical garden escape! Add your appreciation to The Graditude Tree and take selfies at the photo booth and holiday tree inside the Mabee Grange. Warm drinks and cash bar and s’more kits are available every night for purchase.
Train Rides (free with admission) will be Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, 5-9 p.m. Train will take guests for a ride to view the lights from across the Garden’s lake.

Garden Members can come out for a winter walk to explore the Garden and/or Cross Timbers Nature Trail. Though perennials and other herbaceous plants may be dormant, look for winter interest in the Garden through evergreens, grasses, seeds, berries and more! Join Garden staff for a guided hike on our Cross Timbers Nature Trail (0.8-mile loop) and take in wide winter skies and a glowing sunset. Before heading out, enjoy a short presentation from 3:30–4 p.m. in the Mabee Grange Event Center, where you’ll learn about the unique features of the Cross Timbers ecoregion and how Garden staff are working to enhance this special area of the Garden.
