James Spicer of Green Country Permaculture will discuss the basics of creating a food forest in your own backyard. A food forest mimics a woodland ecosystem by substituting edible trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals. James will share information and resources for plants that work well in northeastern Oklahoma.
The Garden is open Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through November 22. Suggested donation for admission of $2 for adults; 50¢ for kids 3-12 yrs. Garden members are free.
