BOOtanical: A Magical Garden Experience
👻✨ Dress up in your favorite costume and join us Thursday evenings in October for BOOtanical in the Driskill Children’s Discovery Garden!
The Garden will be transformed into a glowing, magical space where families can explore lighted pathways, discover BOOtanical booths mixing fun with learning, and enjoy hands-on games and activities about monarch butterflies and other cool insects (yes—even Maggot Painting!). Meet costumed characters and collect plenty of treats along the way—it’s fall fun for the whole family!
BOOtanical Tickets 🎟️
Every child participating in BOOtanical needs an add-on ticket, in addition to regular Garden admission. With a BOOtanical ticket, children will receive a wristband and treat bag at the door.
- $10 per child (ages 0–18) for Garden members
- $12 per child (ages 0–18) for non-members
- Adults only need a regular admission ticket—no BOOtanical add-on required.
👉 Add BOOtanical tickets when purchasing admission online. Advance tickets are highly recommended to avoid lines at the door.

Food and drinks will be available for purchase each evening (cashless transactions only). No outside food or drink permitted. Click here for the full menu!
Bands & Blooms 🎶
Your regular admission ticket also includes live music in the Garden during Bands & Blooms, 6–8 p.m. Thursdays. Bring chairs or a blanket for the lawn, or enjoy the music as you stroll.

How to Purchase Tickets
- Select your date and entry time window when buying admission tickets online. (Choose 5 p.m. for BOOtanical entry—you may arrive anytime after 5 p.m.)
- After choosing your admission tickets, add BOOtanical tickets for each participating child.
- Adults only need regular admission tickets.
- Garden members should reserve their free admission tickets online and add $10 BOOtanical tickets for children.
