🌸 FLORIGAMI Summer Nights: Celebrate Tulsa’s Summer Thursdays

Every Thursday in July, Tulsa Botanic Garden stays open late for FLORIGAMI Summer Nights, a weekly evening celebration that blends art, nature, and community. Each week offers a new theme, fun activities, and a chance to explore the Garden in a whole new light.

Thursday, July 3 | 5–8 p.m.

  • Red, White and BLOOM!
    Kick off your Fourth of July weekend with patriotic flair! Wear your red, white, and blue, enjoy lawn games in the Stanford Family Liberty Garden, and grab a free patriotic tattoo for kids. Frozen lemonade and cool treats will be available for purchase. Don’t forget to visit the Painted Ponies FLORIGAMI sculpture near the entrance!

Thursday, July 10 | 5–8 p.m.

  • 5 O’Clock Somewhere
    Bring the island vibes to Tulsa! Slip on your Hawaiian shirt, sway to island tunes, and wander through the exotic plant displays in the Bevel Bed and beyond. Free leis while supplies last and frozen lemonade, cocktails/mocktails and more for sale.

  • Date Night at the Garden
    Looking for a romantic thing to do in Tulsa? Treat your date to a sunset stroll surrounded by flowers, sculpture, and the peaceful sounds of nature.

Thursday, July 24 | 5–8 p.m.

  • Lazy Lakeside Night
    Relax lakeside with a good book or picnic in hand. Enjoy the serenity of the south side of our lake, take in summer blooms, and discover the beauty of the FLORIGAMI sculptures along the way.

Thursday, July 31 | 5–8 p.m.

  • Dog Night with Cherry & Bark Ice Cream
    Celebrate National Mutt Night with your four-legged friend! Enjoy a dog-friendly evening featuring local ice cream from Cherry & Bark, free pup cups, and splash pools to keep your pup cool. Don’t miss a scenic walk through the Bost Arboretum—perfect for tree lovers and bark enthusiasts alike!

🐾 Dog Policy Reminder: All dogs must be leashed on a non-retractable leash. Limit 2 dogs per household. Owners are responsible for cleanup and behavior. Failure to follow rules may result in removal without refund. Dogs are only allowed on noted days/events.

🌞 Early Member Mornings – Peaceful Starts to Your Summer Fridays

Fridays in July (except July 4) | 8:30–10 a.m.
Tulsa Botanic Garden members get early access to the Garden during the cooler morning hours. A perfect time to take a walk, visit with the kids, bird watch or capture photos of nature!

🐶 Second Saturday Dog Day – July 12

Saturday, July 12 | 10 a.m.–5 p.m.
Enjoy a day out with your furry companion! Pups can explore the Garden with you, cool off in doggy pools, and enjoy a free pup cup. Be sure to check the dog policy above before visiting.

📚 Tree Fort Storytime – July 12 & July 26

Saturdays, July 12 & July 26 | 10:30 a.m.
Join us under the shady oaks in the Driskill Children’s Discovery Garden for a delightful, nature-themed storytime perfect for toddlers and young children.

🦎 Amazing Adaptations with Tulsa Zoo

Tuesday, July 15 | 10–11 a.m.
Discover how animals adapt to survive with help from Tulsa Zoo educators and their live animal ambassadors! This free program (with paid Garden admission) is limited to 50 guests, so get your tickets in advance to reserve your spot.
