Star Night on Nov. 17
Get your tickets for our next Star Night on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 7-10 p.m. Garden staff will have two telescopes set up at the top of the Tandy Floral Terraces for viewing the night sky. This date is around the peak of the Leonid Meteor Shower, so plan to keep an eye out for meteors as well.
Bring blanket or chair to set up on the lawn. Only red flashlights are encouraged, to improve our night vision. We are limiting the number of tickets for this event, so please register soon if you’re interested in coming. If the weather forces us to cancel this event, we will offer an alternate date or a refund. Any announcement regarding cancellation will be made by noon on the event day.
The Leonid meteor shower will peak around Nov. 17. On this night, the moon will be 5% full, providing darker skies for celestial viewing.
TICKETS for ages 3 and up are $10 per person for Garden members and $15 per person for non-members. No tickets will be sold at the door.
SAFETY: Please wear a mask when inside the visitor center and restrooms and anytime outside when physically distancing from others is not possible.
