Garden Members can come out for a winter walk to explore the Garden and/or Cross Timbers Nature Trail.  Though perennials and other herbaceous plants may be dormant, look for winter interest in the Garden through evergreens, grasses, seeds, berries and more!   Members can bring dogs (up to 2 per household) to join them for a walk.  Dogs must be on a non-retractable leash and you must clean up after your dog.   Gates open at 10 a.m. and last entry is…

Join Garden staff for a guided hike on our Cross Timbers Nature Trail (0.8-mile loop) and take in wide winter skies and a glowing sunset. Before heading out, enjoy a short presentation from 3:30–4 p.m. in the Mabee Grange Event Center, where you’ll learn about the unique features of the Cross Timbers ecoregion and how Garden staff are working to enhance this special area of the Garden.
