Check out our September Events!

Autumn is in the air!

Cooler air signals the transition of the seasons as summer temperatures and humidity slowly give way to crisper air and earlier sunsets. The Garden is still going strong with plants growing and thriving and supporting many forms of wildlife. September is a good time to see butterflies in the Garden, and we’re celebrating these winged jewels of the garden with activities throughout the month. We also have a full month of activities planned for our Late Night Thursdays. Check it out below!

BUTTERFLY SURVEY

Daily through the month of September, butterfly survey sheets will be available for visitors to fill out as they walk through the Garden to record what types of butterflies they see. Visitors can then add their sightings to the Butterfly Data Board in the Visitor Center.

Bring your pup for a walk in the Garden. Legacy of Hope Dog Rescue will be on hand with pups looking for their forever homes. Free for Garden members and member dogs; Regular admission and $4 per dog for non-members.
