SUMMARY:En Plein Air – Painting\, Exhibit and Sale
DESCRIPTION:Tulsa Botanic Garden will be hosting select artists for Plein Air Painting followed by an Exhibit and Sale of their work on Sunday\, April 2\, 2023. The artists will be painting in various locations in the Botanic Garden that morning and then exhibit their original work in the Garden’s Mabee Grange building in a reception from 2:30-4:30 p.m. A portion of sales of their works will benefit the Botanic Garden. \nParticipating artists include: Josh Stout\, Kelly Pennington\, Matt Smith\, F. Thompson\, Monte Toon\, Jay Holobach\, Donna Whitsitt\, Dianne Morrison\, Mary Lee Weaver\, Pat Meyer\, Robert Owen Freeman\, Ken Brown and Matt Moffett. \nThe event is part of the Garden’s annual Tulsa Botanic BLOOMS festival with over 200\,000 spring flower bulbs blooming from mid-March to mid-April. \nThe Garden will be open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the public is invited to come see the artists as they work as well as attend the exhibit and sale which is open to the public with Garden admission. After spending seven years cutting his teeth in New York City\, he is happy to be back home in time to participate in this beautiful artistic renaissance that is blossoming in Tulsa. DESCRIPTION:NOTE: A limited number of tickets are available for Saturday\, April 8 due to expected high attendance.  \nAdvance tickets for both dog owners (member and non-member) and their dogs are required.  \nSecond Saturday Dog Days are special days when your four-legged family member can join you for a walk in the Garden (dogs are not allowed other times). Dogs must be up-to-date on all registrations and vaccinations and must be controlled on a non-retractable 6′ leash at all times by an adult.
