SUMMARY:Full Moon Nature Hike - Cancelled
DESCRIPTION:Explore the sights and sounds of native prairie and forest with a moonlit hike on our 1.5 mile Cross Timbers Nature trail. Take a self-guided walk at your own pace or opt for a guided walk with a Garden horticulturist (see schedule below!). Guided hike is approximately 45 minutes to an hour and is geared for ages 16 and up. Comfortable shoes\, warm clothes and red flashlights/flashlights with red filters are encouraged. \nWarm drinks (hot cocoa\, coffee) and other beverages (beer\, wine\, hard cider\, water) will be available for purchase before or after your walk. Snacks will also be available for sale. \nNote: Trail surface is mowed path and uneven surface rocks and cannot accommodate strollers\, wagons\, or wheelchairs. \nEvent is come and go\, last admission at 8 p.m. to ensure time to walk trail before event closes at 9 p.m. Dogs are not permitted at this event. \n\n6:00pm – Visitor Center opens & bar opens \n6:30 – sunset\n6:30 – tour\n7:00 – tour\n7:30 – tour\n8:05pm – last tour\nEvent closes at 9pm \n\nTICKETS:Members: Ages 16+ | $10; Ages 3-15 | $5Non-members: Ages 16+ | $15; Ages 3-15 | $6

DESCRIPTION:Second Saturday Dog Days are special days when your four-legged family member can join you for a walk in the Garden (dogs are not allowed other times). Pups must be up-to-date on all registrations and vaccinations and must be controlled on a non-retractable 6′ leash at all times. Owners are required to clean up after their pets.  We reserve the right to demand unruly dogs (and owners) leave our premises immediately. At this time\, no communal water bowls will be available for the dogs – guests are encouraged to bring their own bowl! \n  \nTICKETS: Advance tickets are recommended and discounted $1-2/ticket. Admission is FREE for Garden members and member dogs. Same-day tickets are $10 for ages 16+\, $5 for ages 3-15. Children 2 and under are free.   You must purchase a ticket for your admission and for your dog. Gordon will be our special guest. Limited edition posters signed by Pat and featuring his painting Portrait of a Tulip created for the Botanic Garden are available by pre-order\, online only\, for pick up at Tiptoe Through the Tulips. Unsigned posters will be available for purchase in the gift shop. All proceeds support the Botanic Garden. \nLimited tickets are $100 per person for Garden members and $125 for non-members.
