Join us for a workshop dedicated to folks in pursuit of a garden full of delicious home grown veggies! A variety of seeds are included\, as well as all the supplies you will need to get them started. Together we will explore seed selection\, seed planting\, and transplanting outdoors. Tulsa has a challenging growing climate\, but strategies for both cool season and hot season veggies will be discussed. Join us and start preparing your garden or patio containers for your 2022 veggies! \nMaterials include seeds\, growing tray\, potting media\, labels\, and crop specific information included in the kit. Our instructors have selected seed varieties that are suited to our local growing conditions\, so that you can grow and harvest your own veggies and flowers. All experience levels are welcome in this class. We cover the basics\, will provide everything you need to get started\, and provide basic gardening information to help you grow your own. You will also be better prepared when shopping those tempting seed displays that pop up everywhere in the spring! \nMaterials kit is included with class registration and include a variety of seeds\, growing tray\, potting media\, labels\, and crop specific information. DESCRIPTION:NOTE: Dog Day on March 12 has been MOVED to March 19 due to weather.  If you have tickets\, please email support@tulsabotanic.org to have them changed to the new date. \nSecond Saturday Dog Days are special days when your four-legged family member can join you for a walk in the Garden (dogs are not allowed other times). Pups must be up-to-date on all registrations and vaccinations and must be controlled on a non-retractable leash at all times. Owners are required to clean up after their pets.  We reserve the right to demand unruly dogs (and owners) leave our premises immediately. \nFrom 12 – 3 p.m. Animal Aid of Tulsa will be onsite with dogs looking for forever homes and have information on fostering and volunteering. Oklahoma K9 PT will also be available from 12-3 pm with information about their canine rehabilitation and wellness services.  \nTICKETS: Advance tickets\, with timed entry\, via online purchase are required.  Admission is FREE for Garden members and member dogs; $8 for ages 16+\, $4 for ages 3-15. Children 2 and under are free. Non-member dogs are $4 per dog.  You must purchase a ticket for your admission and for your dog. \n Join as a member or renew your membership for free admission and more! \n  \n \nNeed help?
