DESCRIPTION:Prop it like it’s hot and join Horticulturist Alison Jackson in a Basics of Propagation Workshop! Tour our private greenhouse and get your hands dirty in this interactive and informative workshop. We will show you how to produce plants asexually using various propagation techniques such as stem cuttings\, layering\, and division. The plants used in this workshop will be sourced directly from our gardens so you’ll be able to take a little slice of heaven home with you! \nClass size is limited to 15. \nEach participant will receive a pair of garden shears/scissors\, one perennial potted plant and make and take 4 foam starts of their choosing from a selection of plants that will be available. \nTickets are $30 for Garden members and $35 for non-members. Tickets include all of the above as well as Garden admission. \nOnline ticket sales close Oct. 15 or when sold out\, whichever comes first.

Enjoy a drink while looking at twenty pieces of her work in this one-night show. Food will be available for  purchase.  Come early for a stroll in the Garden before 6 p.m. \nAll art works will be available for sale and 10% of each sale will benefit the Botanic Garden. \nAdmission is just general Garden admission: $8 for ages 16+\, $4 for ages 3-15\, if purchased in advance\, $10/$5 for same-day tickets. (Advance tickets are encouraged to avoid lines.)
