DESCRIPTION:Our Late Night Thursdays are returning with Autumn In the Garden.  Each Thursday\, Sept. 24 – Oct. 29 we’ll be open until 8 p.m. with music from 6 to 8\, food truck and bar with beer and wine for sale.  \nPlan to bring a blanket or chairs to S-P-R-E-A-D out on our lawn and enjoy local musicians\, local food trucks and your local botanic garden! The Whit food truck and a bar will be set up around 5:30 p.m. Music will be from 6-8 p.m.  (Please wear mask when in line at food truck and bar and anytime outside when physical distancing of 6 ft is not possible) \nStephanie Oliver and Friends: In the Tulsa music scene since 2006\, Stephanie Oliver is a versatile vocalist and percussionist\, who revels in genre-jumping and doesn’t feel the need to relegate herself to any one style of music. One thing that’s always evident in her recordings and performances is the sheer joy it brings her to sing and play music. \nAdmission is FREE for Garden members; $8 for ages 13+\, $4 for ages 3-12. Kids 2 and under are free. \nPlease note: We are limiting tickets and require you buy tickets in advance online- other music nights have sold out.  Members get free admission – but do need to reserve their tickets.  Please understand that events/musicians/food truck/ticket numbers are subject to change and if needed\, we will update accordingly.  We ask you to please see our safety information below before purchasing your tickets.  \n \nMembers – remember to log in before making your reservations.  \nThe health and safety of our guests and staff remain our top priority. DESCRIPTION:Tulsa Botanic Garden and Signature Symphony at TCC are partnering to host “Botanic Brass\,” a picturesque sunset concert against the backdrop of beautiful gardens. In honor of Tulsa’s great Oktoberfest legacy\, the Signature Brass Quintet will perform a variety of Bavarian\, Polka\, Austrian & German music.  \nSCHEDULE: 4 p.m.: Doors open. (Garden will close to general admission at 3 p.m.) Green Zebra Bowl  (menu) and The Whit (menu) food trucks will be on site with dinner options available. Beer and wine will be available for sale.5:15 p.m.: Signature String Quartet plays6-7 p.m.: Signature Brass Quintet Concert on peninsula lawn. 8 p.m.: Garden closes. \nPlan to arrive early to stroll and explore the Garden including the seasonal Autumn in the Garden display with thousands of pumpkins\, a hay maze and scarecrows made by the Tulsa community. DESCRIPTION:Enjoy the Garden at night! Bring your own chairs or blanket to spread out on the lawn and look up at the night sky. A telescope will be set up at the top of the Tandy Floral Terraces\, with Garden staff on hand to facilitate viewings of stellar\, planetary and deep sky objects.  \nOnly red flashlights are encouraged\, to improve our night vision. We are limiting the number of tickets for this event\, so please register soon if you’re interested in coming. If the weather forces us to cancel this event\, we will offer an alternate date or a refund.  Any announcement regarding cancellation will be made by noon on the event day. \nThe Leonid meteor shower will peak around Nov. 17. On this night\, the moon will be 5% full\, providing darker skies for celestial viewing. \nTICKETS for ages 3 and up are $10 per person for Garden members and $15 per person for non-members.  No tickets will be sold at the door.  \nSAFETY: Please wear a mask when inside the visitor center and restrooms and anytime outside when physically distancing from others is not possible.  \nTHANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST – THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT.
