Pups must be up-to-date on all registrations and vaccinations and must be controlled on a non-retractable 6′ leash at all times. Owners are required to clean up after their pets.  We reserve the right to demand unruly dogs (and owners) leave our premises immediately. At this time\, no communal water bowls will be available for the dogs – guests are encouraged to bring their own bowl! \nDogs are free in February! \nTICKETS: Advance tickets are recommended and discounted $1-2/ticket. Admission is FREE for Garden members and member dogs. Same-day tickets are $10 for ages 16+\, $5 for ages 3-15. Children 2 and under are free. SUMMARY:Full Moon Nature Hike - Cancelled
DESCRIPTION:Explore the sights and sounds of native prairie and forest with a moonlit hike on our 1.5 mile Cross Timbers Nature trail. Take a self-guided walk at your own pace or opt for a guided walk with a Garden horticulturist (see schedule below!). Guided hike is approximately 45 minutes to an hour and is geared for ages 16 and up. Comfortable shoes\, warm clothes and red flashlights/flashlights with red filters are encouraged. \nWarm drinks (hot cocoa\, coffee) and other beverages (beer\, wine\, hard cider\, water) will be available for purchase before or after your walk. DESCRIPTION:Tulsa Botanic Garden will be hosting select artists for Plein Air Painting followed by an Exhibit and Sale of their work on Sunday\, April 2\, 2023. The artists will be painting in various locations in the Botanic Garden that morning and then exhibit their original work in the Garden’s Mabee Grange building in a reception from 2:30-4:30 p.m. A portion of sales of their works will benefit the Botanic Garden. \nParticipating artists include: Josh Stout\, Kelly Pennington\, Matt Smith\, F. Thompson\, Monte Toon\, Jay Holobach\, Donna Whitsitt\, Dianne Morrison\, Mary Lee Weaver\, Pat Meyer\, Robert Owen Freeman\, Ken Brown and Matt Moffett. \nThe event is part of the Garden’s annual Tulsa Botanic BLOOMS festival with over 200\,000 spring flower bulbs blooming from mid-March to mid-April. \nThe Garden will be open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the public is invited to come see the artists as they work as well as attend the exhibit and sale which is open to the public with Garden admission. DESCRIPTION:Bring the whole family for an afternoon with loads of fun for the kids! \nJoin us for our tenth annual DIG: Day In the Garden!  This family-friendly  event offers a picnic-like feel and lots of activities for young and young-at-heart.  \nKids can have fun with bubble-making stations\, face painting\, and a garden scavenger hunt.  A “Make a Fairy Garden” station will let kids plant and decorate their own mini-garden to take home. Hot Toast Music Company will have their interactive performance with sing along songs and instruments to play along. Families can take a photo together at our family photo booth. It’s a great way to spend time as a family\, celebrate mom and give her the evening off!  \nFamily-friendly food will be available and Josh’s Sno Shack will be onsite with snow cones for a sweet treat! \nTickets include all activities\, food and non-alcoholic drinks. Beer\, wine and cocktails will be available for sale (credit card only) \nKids are free with adult ticket.  Garden members: $45 per adult. Non-members: $65. \nThe Garden will close to general admission at 2 p.m. to set up for this event.  \nProceeds from this event help support the Botanic Garden. DESCRIPTION:For ages 6 and up with a parent \nCome explore the craft of pottery with some modern twists. We will be hosting a craft day where kids can create whatever their imagination comes up with through clay. \nFrom 11 to noon\, kids can work with clay to make their own creation. We’ll have lots of tools including stamps they can use for making their clay masterpiece. We’ll also have time for a lunch break (bring a sack lunch) and exploring the Garden while clay creations are baked to dry. \nWe’ll reconvene at 1 p.m. for time to paint their pieces. We’ll also explore clay we’ve dug straight from the earth and show examples of the stages of how Native Americans processed clay to make beautiful pottery for centuries. \nTICKETS: Cost per child\, age 6 and up (includes Garden admission):\nMembers: $25  | Non-members:$30\nNo charge for parents except regular Garden admission. \nWorkshop will be in Children’s Discovery Garden Amphitheatre.
