DESCRIPTION:Bring a POP of color to your life at Nature POP! — now open at Tulsa Botanic Garden! This new exhibition\, featuring sculptures made from more than 800\,000 LEGO® pieces\, explores the beauty of nature through contemporary\, stylized\, and colorful displays. Blending art\, science\, and innovation\, the larger-than-life sculptures in Nature POP! invite you to consider: just as LEGO bricks interconnect\, how is everything in nature interconnected? \nWhimsical\, bold\, and bombastic\, Nature POP! will delight and inspire the whole family! \nThe exhibit opens Saturday\, March 16 with spring break activities planned throughout the week of March 18-22. The Garden will be open on Monday\, March 18.  Regular hours are Tuesday – Sunday\, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Garden will close at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday\, April 13.  \nStarting April 4\, the Garden will be open on select Thursdays until 8 p.m. with evening Bands & Blooms concerts from 6 to 8 p.m. Visitors can bring chairs or blankets to listen to live music on the lawn and stroll the Garden to experience spring blooms and Sean Kenney’s Nature POP! \nRegular admission to the Garden during the exhibit (March 16-May 9) will be free for Garden members; $15 for ages 16 and up\, $10 for ages 3 to 15. Children 2 and under are free.  Field trip information can be found here.  \nGuest passes\, reciprocal admission and onsite discounted pricing (other than Museums for All pricing below) will not apply for regular admission during the exhibit. (March 16-May 9\, 2024) \nMuseums for All – Discounted tickets\nRecipients of SNAP or WIC benefits can receive discounted general admission by showing a valid EBT and photo ID. Oklahoma Foster families can receive discounted pricing below by showing their Oklahoma Foster Parent Exclusive Membership Card. It carries a variety of the latest materials for all ages\, including regular and large print books\, audiobooks\, CDs and DVDs–and it’s all free! Visit and browse materials to check out.  Guests will be able to get a library card and check in/out books during the event. Books may be returned to any TCCL Library after the event.

DESCRIPTION:Watch the sun set and the August Blue Moon rise over the rolling Osage hills – the Tulsa Botanic Garden is opening late for this special celestial event! The moon will be bright\, but you’ll also be able to see shooting stars as a part of the annual Leonid meteor shower. \nLearn more about our Cross Timbers ecoregion from a 30 min presentation by two of our horticulturists in our Mabee Grange Event Center. You can enjoy a self-guided hike on our 1-mile trail through native prairie and Cross Timbers forest -or- participate in a guided tour led by one of our expert Horticulturists (groups leaving every 45 minutes\, approx.). \nFOOD & DRINK: We’ll have the Grange set up with beer\, wine\, and specialty craft cocktails including “Glimmering Cosmos”\, “Whiskey Moons”\, the “Lucky You” and more. We’ll also have non-alcoholic drinks and special “Nebula Nachos” and “Satellite Sliders” for purchase (credit card only) during this come and go event.  See full menu \nNote: Trail surface is mowed path/dirt and includes uneven surface rocks and cannot accommodate strollers\, wagons or wheelchairs. Comfortable walking shoes and red flashlights/flashlights with red filters are encouraged. \nGates will open at 6:30 p.m. Guests should follow signs for parking and walking directly to the Garden’s Mabee Grange Event Center.
