SUMMARY:Summer Solstice Yoga & Meditation
DESCRIPTION:THANK YOU for your interest this Event is SOLD OUT!  \nJoin us for Yoga & Meditation on the Lawn near the Garden’s Mabee Grange to wake up the body and refresh the mind! \nWe will begin with mindful breathing and an introspective meditation to encourage brain and heart coherence. The movement portion is about 50 minutes\, beginning with gentle head\, neck\, and spinal mobility stretches. Sequences gradually incorporate Vinyasa flows at a slow and controlled pace. Postures focus on alignment\, range of motion\, and body awareness with attunement to the breath. All levels of experience will benefit. \nAfter stretching and moving\, we will take a savasana before beginning meditation. Once the body is still\, we will focus on silencing the mind. The 30-minute meditation portion will offer guided prompts and is ultimately self-led. Please bring a mat\, a bottle of water\, and any props (such as a blanket or blocks) to aid you in your practice.  \n*Outdoor practice is weather-dependent. We will hold the class indoors if it is raining. Comfortable clothes and sunscreen/hat/sunglasses are advised. \nThis class will be led by Katie Kelly\, RYT 200. A native Tulsan\, Katie received her yogic training in the heart of the Himalayas at Triguna Yoga in Rishikesh\, India. Living and studying in an ashram taught Katie much about pranayama (breathwork) and meditation. She has been teaching for over 3 years and has a heart for sharing the integrative magic of breath\, movement\, and meditation. Her philosophical interests are inspired by the work of Dr. Joe Dispenza\, Taoism and Stoicism. \nOur Botanic Bar will be open 9 a.m.-1 p.m. with Honey Iced Coffee\, Coffee\, Water\, Beer\, Wine and Cocktail available for sale. (credit card only) \nTickets include Garden admission and are: $5 for Garden members; $20 for non-members \n

SUMMARY:Yoga & Meditation
DESCRIPTION:Join us for Yoga & Meditation to wake up the body and refresh the mind! This class will be held inside our Mabee Grange. \nTickets include Garden admission and are: $5 for Garden members; $20 for non-members \nAges 12-15 may attend if accompanied by parent (child will need ticket as well as parent).  Age 16+ may attend without parent.
