DESCRIPTION:More hours for flowers – our Bands & Blooms are a great for a date night\, girls’ night out\, meet-up with friends or a family outing!  Bring chairs or a blanket\, if you like\, to enjoy the live music from Steve Liddell Duo and fantastic views from the lawn.   Purchase food (gourmet hot dogs\, nachos\, snacks) from our Garden of Eatin’ concession stand.  Our Botanic Bar has beer\, wine and cocktails to sip as you stroll through our lush gardens!   \nSteve Liddell is a singer/songwriter who has performed his brand of original music mixing Folk\, Roots Americana\, Reggae and Jazz from coast to coast\, Hawaii\, Latin America and Europe.\nLiddell has released two albums: Goodlove and Old Soles. \nYou can shop and purchase pumpkins\, take fun selfies at photo stops\, explore the hay maze\, see all the creative scarecrow entries – and vote for your favorite!  \nFood and drink options are available at 6 p.m. Music is 6-8 p.m.  \nAdmission to Bands & Blooms is:  FREE for Garden members. Regular admission for non-members. \nAdvance tickets recommended: $8 for ages 16+\, $4 for ages 3-15. Day of tickets are $10/$5 respectively. \n \nBands & Blooms will be every Thursday\, September 21 – October 26\, 6-8 p.m. \nGoing on during Bands & Blooms: BOOtanical\nThrow on your favorite costume and join us Thursday evenings in October\, 6-8 p.m.\, as the Children’s Discovery Garden transforms into an enchanting garden for a BOOtanical Experience!  Families can stroll through the lighted pathways and past non-spooky decorations to visit eleven BOOtanical booths including ghost origami\, pictures with a costumed character\, maggot painting\, and games!   Additional ticket required to participate in BOOtanical experience. DESCRIPTION:BOOtanical is sponsored by Ferguson Subaru! \nThrow on your favorite costume and join us Thursday evenings in October\, 6-8 p.m.\, as the Children’s Discovery Garden transforms into an enchanting garden for a BOOtanical Experience!  Families can stroll through the lighted pathways and past non-spooky decorations to visit eleven BOOtanical booths including ghost origami\, pictures with a costumed character\, maggot painting\, and games!    \nWith a ticket to BOOtanical\, each child gets a wristband and bag for carrying their crafts and prizes.  Each child participating in BOOtanical Experience will need a BOOtanical ticket in addition to a regular admission ticket.    \nBOOtanical tickets purchased in advance are $8/participating child for Garden members\, $10 for non-member children.  Same day tickets are $10/$12 per participating child.  \n(Garden admission tickets must be purchased in addition to BOOtanical tickets.  There is no additional charge for adults accompanying children other then regular admission.)  \n \nOct. 5: Character visit: Maleficent  \nOct. 12: Character visit: Peter Pan & Tinker Bell  \nOct. 19: Character visit: Jack & Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas   \nOct. 26: Character visit: Sanderson Sisters from Hocus Pocus   \nBOOtanical Experiences are rain or shine!
