SUMMARY:Autumn In the Botanic Garden
DESCRIPTION:Explore our pumpkin display with 25\,000 lbs of pumpkins\, the new Bank of Oklahoma Photo Station\, hay maze and our annual scarecrow display – Vote for your favorite scarecrow to win the People’s Choice Award! Pumpkins will be available for sale throughout the event ($.75/lb.).   \nEvery Thursday night during Autumn in the Botanic Garden\, is Bands & Blooms. The Garden will stay open until 8 p.m.  with live music\, on the lawn from 6-8p.m. and food truck and bar with beer\, wine and other drinks available starting at 5:30 p.m.  Regular admission.  Advance admission tickets are required as these nights can sell out. Walk up admission is not guaranteed.  \nBands & Blooms schedule:Sept. 23: Desi and Cody & Hot Mess BBQ food truckSept. 30: Bossa & MASA food truck and Cherry & Bark ice cream cartOct. 7: Bandelier & Andolini’s food truckOct. 14: Klondike 5 String Band & The Whit food truck\, Hot Dogs & Ice Cream – in addition to a food truck\, we’ll have kits for roasting hot dogs (vegetarian options too) over fire pits and local ice cream cart Cherry & Bark will have treats for sale!Oct. 21: Foggy Memory Boys & Comida\, Sol y Vida food truckOct 28: John Depew & MASA food truck \nBOO-tanical with a trick-or-treat trail to 8 stations in the Children’s Discovery Garden and Tandy Floral Terraces with botanical or animal-themed candy\, toys and other surprises\, costume contest (7 p.m. on the lawn stage) and more will be each Thursday night in October from 5:30-8 p.m.  Cost is $10 at the door for each trick-or-treater\, in addition to admission ticket.  Advance admission tickets required as these nights can sell out. Walk up admission is not guaranteed.  \nOther events during Autumn in the Botanic Garden:Sept. 21-26: Fall Online Plant Sale – the Garden’s fall sale will include selected houseplants as well as seasonal annuals like violas\, pansies\, and mums.  Tulip\, daffodil and saffron crocus bulbs will also be available for sale.  Members shop early! \nSept. 26: 9th annual DIG- Day In the Garden – a family-focused event with live music\, costumed characters\, bubble stations\, pumpkin decorating\, lunch\, drinks and more. \nSept. 28: Dog Day – a special day with pups can join you for a visit to the Garden.  \nOct. 11-15: Finding Fall – pick up a scavenger hunt to look for signs of fall as you explore the Garden. DESCRIPTION:Mark your calendars and get your tickets for our 9th annual DIG: Day In the Garden!\nKick off your fall family fun at our annual DIG among pumpkins\, scarecrows\, and our hay maze decorating the Garden for the season.  \nEnjoy the sounds of Gregory Fallis & The Green Horns brass band playing favorites from children’s movies and TV\, and sing-a-long fun with Hot Toast Music Co. Explore the Garden and visit with costumed characters\, take family snapshots at the photo booth\, make giant bubbles at activity stations\, decorate a pumpkin to take home\, go on a scavenger hunt and explore the Garden.  \nAll activities are planned outside or open-air and we are closely monitoring safety recommendations from health experts.  Any safety updates will be added here and on our Facebook event.  \nLunch (served from 11:30 am – 2 p.m.) with taco bar and vegetarian options and drinks including local beers\, wines\, mimosas and a signature cocktail is included in ticket price.  \nTickets are limited and must be purchased by Sept. 23. NO TICKETS AT THE DOOR.\n$45/Member; $65/Non-member.
