February 2019 Events at Tulsa Botanic Garden  

Come out for a stroll to look for signs of spring! Our Dog Days of Winter continue on Fridays and Saturdays through February 23.  Register now for our Air Plant Make & Take Workshop! 

Fridays and Saturday through February 23, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.: Dog Days of Winter
Got “cabin fever”? Join us on Dog Days of Winter – Fridays and Saturdays in January and February when your four-legged family members can join you for a walk in the Garden. Pups must be up-to-date on all registrations and vaccinations and must be controlled on a non-retractable leash at all times. Owners are required to clean up after their pets.  Free for Garden members and member dogs. Regular admission and $4 per dog for non-members.  

Saturday, February 9, 3:30 p.m.: Air Plant Make & Take Workshop (pre-registration required)
Learn about easy-to-grow air plants and create your own living decoration for your home in this make and take workshop. Pre-registration required by Feb. 8. Light refreshments and a cash bar will be available. This is a great activity to do with a friend or family member!  Get details and register here.

Saturday & Sunday, February 16 & 17, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.: All About Birds 
Drop in to learn about some of our more common birds and get information on participating in the Great Backyard Bird Count (Feb. 15-18) – a great family activity! 

Tuesday, February 19, 6:00-8:00 p.m.: Full Moon Nature Hike
Explore the sights and sounds of nature at night on a hike through our 1.5 mile nature trail. Use the light of the full moon as your guide walking through native prairie and forest. (note: trail is not accessible) Drinks, including cash bar, and s’more kits will be available for sale before or after your self-guided hike. Cost is $10 per person for Garden members; $15 for non-members. Purchase tickets here. 

Save the Date – our 7th Annual DIG: Day In the Garden is Saturday, May 18, 4-8 p.m. – Tickets go on sale February 1.
