Spring is here at Tulsa Botanic Garden! Join us for the following events or just come for a walk to enjoy the ever-changing, spring landscape. 


Saturday, April 1, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. 

Join members of Tulsa Wind Riders Kite Club for our annual kite-flying day at the Garden! Bring your own kite as we decorate the skies around the Lake. Families can make a kite (11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., small fee for materials).



DOG NIGHT with Petswell Pantry and Tulsa SPCA
Thursday, April 6, 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Bring your pup out for a special time when you can enjoy a walk together through the Garden. Tulsa SPCA will be here with their mobile adoption unit and animals ready to find fur-ever homes! Bring a friend! Dogs must be up to date on vaccinations and registrations. Only non-retractable leashes please. Regular admission applies. Free for members and member dogs. $4 for non-member dogs. 

Saturday, April 8, 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Bring the family to enjoy a spring morning at the Tulsa Botanic Garden. Stroll through the A.R. and Marylouise Tandy Floral Terraces and see how many bunnies, of all different shapes and colors, you can spot on a scavenger hunt!  We’ll have egg hunts on the lawn starting at 10:30 a.m. for ages 0 to 4 yrs., 11:00 a.m. for ages 5 to 7 and 11:30 a.m. for ages 8+. Lucky eggs will include prizes such as t-shirts and memberships. Crafts and bunny hunt ongoing from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Bring your camera! Spaces are limited and registration is required. Cost is $5 per child for members and $10 per child for non-members. (Price includes Garden admission for child. Monday, April 10, 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Enjoy light refreshments as you learn more about the Botanic Garden and ways to get involved as a volunteer. Time includes a walk in the Garden (weather permitting).

Thursday, April 13, 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Join Patty Smith, biology instructor at Tulsa Community College, for a walk on our Cross Timbers Trail to look at native wildflowers, grasses and trees. Walk starts at 6:00 p.m. at the Visitor Center. Comfortable walking shoes are suggested.



Friday, April 14 and Saturday, April 15, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. 

Decorate eggs with natural materials and dyes from plants. Cost is $5 per child plus Garden admission (while supplies last).



Thursday, April 20, 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Breathe in botanical serenity as you take in the stunning view and join Be Love Yoga for a yoga session in the Garden beginning at 6:00 p.m. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a mat. Come early or stay late for a walk around the lake. 



GREEN WRITING: Celebrating the Earth with Poetry with Nimrod International Journal of Prose and Poetry
Sunday, April 23, 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Writers and volunteers from Nimrod International Journal of Prose and Poetry will help us celebrate Poetry Month and Earth Day with poetry readings in the A.R. and Marylouise Tandy Floral Terraces from 2 to 4 p.m. Take in the beauty of the Garden on your walk with poetry readings along the way. Be inspired to add a haiku to our haiku tree and enter the poetry contest. We’ll finish the day with a short group reading at 4:00 p.m. 


Thursday, April 27, 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Recharge with an evening escape in nature's beauty and enjoy the sounds of Paul Benjaman Band starting at 6:00 p.m.

Saturday, April 29, 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Bring friends and family for a beautiful day in the Garden. Shop for hand-blown glass garden art from local artists with Tulsa Glassblowing School, whimsical metal garden art from Tulsa’s Garden Deva and birdhouses from Birdhouses by Mark. We’ll have garden tours at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. as well as crafts and scavenger hunts for kids. You will be sure to find some Mother’s Day gifts here!


Tulsa Botanic Garden is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Thursday evenings from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. beginning in April. Watch the calendar for special events and times! (You can also follow us on Facebook for event updates and more.) 

Admission prices are FREE for
