Tulips & Tunes: Little Joe McLerran

De-stress from your day with an evening among beautiful blossoms, captivating fragrances and the soulful sounds of blues singer and guitarist Little Joe McLerran starting at 6 p.m.. Andolini's Pizzeria Mobile Food Truck will have delicious dinner options and beer and wine will also be available for sale starting at 5 p.m.  

Little Joe came on the scene in Memphis when he won the Solo/Duo catagory of the International Blues Challenge in 2009. In 2010 he took his band on a month-long tour of the Persian Gulf region as part of The Rhythm Road hosted by Jazz at Lincoln Center and the U.S. Department of State. Through this connection with the US State Department, Little Joe now travels to third world countries on missions of cultural exchange giving guitar workshops, master classes and round table discussions about the Blues. In 2013 Little Joe McLerran was inducted into the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame. 

Tulsa Botanic Garden is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10am to 5pm. Starting March 15, the Garden will stay open until 8pm on Thursdays. Admission prices are FREE for Garden members; $8 for ages 13+; $4 for ages 3–12. Children 2 and under are free.
